How to make Laundry Detergent

• 1/3 large bag of Baking Soda (roughly 4 pounds)
• 1 box Washing Soda (roughly 4 pounds)
• 1 box Borax (roughly 4 pounds)
• 1 bar Dr. Bronner's Unscented (roughly 2 cups shredded)

Note: the recipe uses roughly equal amounts of Baking Soda, Washing Soda, and Borax; precise measuring is not necessary - just use roughly equal amounts of each

• Food Processor with Grater Disc or hand grater
• Large mixing bowl / container
• Wooden spoon
• Laundry Detergent large Lock-and-Locks

• Use the food processor to grate the bar of Dr. Bronner's Unscented Soap.
• Wear a mask during the mixing, so you don’t breathe in the fumes
• In the large mixing bowl/container, stir together the grated soap with the baking soda, washing soda, and borax.
• Pour the mixture into Laundry Detergent Lock-and-Locks.
• Put the Laundry Detergent Lock-and-Locks in the drawer under the washing machine.
